1950'S WIM RIETVELD OASE CHAIR FOR AHREND DE CIRKEL
The Oase chair was designed in the Netherlands by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Cirkel in 1958. Rietveld received the "Signe d'Or" for the design of the chair in 1959. The frame structure is made of black lacquered steel, the armrests are made of bakelite.
The chair is in usable condition but has wear to the paintwork, the blue vinyl has some wear and the armrests have a slight bit of damage at the front all shown in the photos which is reflected in the price.
