BODY CHAIR BY JIM WARREN FOR PEARL DOT, 1979

BODY CHAIR BY JIM WARREN FOR PEARL DOT, 1979

Regular price Sale

Pair of rare Body Chairs by Jim Warren, designed for Pearl Dot furniture makers, London 1979. These chairs take their cue from Japanese modernist elements along with Rietveld (see the famous Zigzag chair) and Charles Eames. They are uniquely designed to adapt to the user’s requirements and can adjust from upright to lounger, and even a rocking-chair facility. The brochure (a copy of which is included) fully describes Warren’s inspirations and methodology. These chairs are fine examples of modernist furniture which, as a movement, sought to strip out decoration to focus on basic design elements and find timeless beauty in spare precision.

The chairs are in wonderful vintage condition with no damages.

Price is per chair.
