Victorian Morris & Co Arts & Crafts Cotswold fireside armchairs for Liberty London, circa 1890 - 1920.
Featuring a high back after C.R. Mackintosh's designs and a rush seat, the chair's standout feature has to be the charming wavy back struts. The chairs are in good antique condition with a break to just the one rush strand on each seat (see photos) which have been glued to prevent any further damage to the rush. Some markings to the rush (see photo). There is a slight movement in the joints as to be expected from a chair that is over 100 years old.
